Re: Benchcrafted Split-Top Roubo Bench Build While I was waiting for the order to come, I noticed that Benchcrafted sell their own barrel bolts and was a tad startled at the price of $40. The thing that sets this design apart is the ability to knock down the bench. I am also going to carry the very stout look all the way through the build. It really helps to have an extra hand or two in the shop while you are doing this glue-up.
Why does that matter? You'll need to make the long rails shorter, and this will affect the dog hole spacing. They are rock solid, and have amazing work-holding abilities.
